Lobbying
Big media content producers have a lot of money (Disney has a market value of $65 Billion), and they have a real interest in protecting that money, so it should come as no surprise that if they can influence legislation in their favour then they will do it. With that in mind, check out Wired's article highlighting a new website that tracks political contributions and the legislation that it is tied to.

New Blog Poll plus Results
Old Blog Poll Result
The consensus from readers of the I-TV Law Blog seems to be in favour of amending existing laws to accommodate for the rise in internet television.
New Blog Poll
July's poll is inspired by the poll currently running on the St. Louis Post Dispatch's website (LINK), specifically relating to Hulu
So the question here is: Would you pay to watch internet television?
Results at the end of the month.
